A graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Proctor-Brown enjoys focusing on equine sports medicine and everything it takes to keep the equine athlete performing at their best. A native of Wisconsin, Lauren grew up riding and working in a wide variety of roles in the horse industry before attending the University of Louisville on a Division I rowing scholarship, where she obtained a BA in Biology and BSBA in Equine Business with her eyes on vet school and a career in the horse industry after finishing her career on the water. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University and continued her education with an internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY. From their the sport of polo has taken her all over the east coast and she founded TEAM RESOLUTE LLC. Settling in Ocala, FL to revitalize the OCALA POLO CLUB, Dr. LPB opened RESOLUTE EQUINE SPORTS MEDICINE. Taking a whole horse approach to sports medicine, Dr. LPB has special interests in dentistry and eastern medicine in addition to traditional western sports medicine. She is certified in Equine Spinal Manipulation through the IVMI and has completed her training in Equine Acupuncture through the Chi Institute. Whether it's keeping your heart horse healthy into retirement to being a part of a team that fulfills your Olympic dreams, Dr. LPB is there to ensure your horse is at their best.
